White with Envy 2001

Soul moves soft along the floor
creeps steadily to moonlit door
all along dirt roads of lore
grass moves velvet starts at core
I thought you knew that I could soar.

Feet like paper
it seems they've been
to mind frames far and fairly seen
tall and smooth and sleek and lean
you tell me I'm dirty but you'll never be clean
I thought you saw me when I leaned.

Pain like air around one sways
slurred together dusty days
time unfolds in palm of maize
slashes criss-cross master lays
I thought you'd interrupt my gaze.

I've dreamed of blood rooms filled with ease
because I can I'll faintly tease
you cannot force me loathe my knees
It's just too easy to say please.
I thought you feared my sultry breeze.

You see your arms like wings of dove
and never question he above
they wonder why you feed on shove
we always hurt the ones we love.
